OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
FULL TIME
Fast-paced, team-oriented Brooklyn CPA firm located in Manhattan Beach, near Kingsborough Community College is seeking a positive, professional and friendly addition to the team who will assist and provide administrative support for this busy firm.
If you enjoy a multifaceted office and diverse responsibilities, this position is for you.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, Excel and have a positive attitude to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Experience in QuickBooks is a plus.
Prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime and Saturdays during the busy tax filing periods.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Type letters, invoices and reports
• Filing
• Sorting and distributing mail and incoming faxes
• Work independently and provide support for CPAs including processing client tax returns and financial statements
• Process electronic and paper copies of client income tax return forms and documents
• Assist and coordinate with partners, managers and staff with all office activities
• Data entry
• Answer emails and direct incoming calls
• Prompt and professional client correspondence
• Being detailed oriented with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Office organization
