About the Role: The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will manage the timely and accurate SEC reporting of interim and annual results.
In this role, you will also be responsible for researching and the application of technical accounting standards under US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
This position will effectively interact with finance, key internal stakeholders and external auditors, as well as participate in corporate accounting controls and projects.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Lead & prepare interim and annual SEC reporting (10-Qs/10-K/Proxy) in accordance with US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, internal policies and professional standards, including footnotes, managements' discussion and analysis, disclosures and iXBRL Prepare various other SEC reports such as 8-K, S-1, S-3 Support investor relations with earnings script and investor presentations Advise management of trends and changes in reporting requirements, peers, competitors, and industry trends Prepare stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including monthly journal entries, reporting and forecasting Monitor, evaluate and analyze emerging accounting and reporting standards from the FASB, EITF, SEC and other standard setters Lead technical accounting updates, including partnering with process owners, management and external auditors Prepare hedge accounting entries and related disclosures Develop accounting policies and internal controls, as necessary, depending on changes in accounting standards and changes in the business Assist in utilization and implementation of reporting tools such as Smartview.
Provide training to accounting, finance, and business teams on new and existing accounting standards, as relevant About You: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience CPA is required Previous "Big 4" public accounting experience and public company experience strongly preferred Experience with SEC reporting is required Strong US GAAP and accounting skills required with the ability to convert technical research and interpretation into a practical solution Experience with WDesk and Netsuite is beneficial Strong Microsoft Excel Skills and ability to work with complex models Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to excel in a flexible, fast-paced work environment under time sensitive goals, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Our Total Rewards: The annual base pay for this position is $167,850 - $195,825 with eligibility for an annual bonus.
The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
