*THE ROLE* Avocado is currently looking for a Retail Brand Experience Assistant Store Manager to be part of our team in WILLIAMSBURG, NY*!* * _Note on Location: You will be working on-site at our location in__ __Williamsburg, NY.
This is not a remote position.

The pay for this role is $25.
00 Hourly, plus potential monthly bonus.
_ This is a non-exempt position, meaning it is hourly and you are entitled to overtime pay.
We offer competitive pay plus monthly bonus! *WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON* * Assist in managing the overall atmosphere of our Experience Center.
Perform daily workload of responding to customers who have questions or need assistance in a variety of areas — product information, order updates, issue resolution, escalations, etc.
* Assume responsibility management duties in absence of a store manager.
* Assist managing inventory of sellable products across all channels.
* Assist with maintaining the overall condition of the retail and office space.
* Lead by example for your team by cultivating an exceptional guest experience.
You will work alongside the team while providing in-the-moment coaching and feedback on a regular basis.
Train and ensure the whole team is well-versed in all products and processes.
* Lead by example in KPIs / OKRs around sales goals.
* Provide continual evaluation and feedback of the team by collaborating with store managers in preparing and administering performance reviews for employee improvement.
* Monitor quality assurance to create and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) * Suggest methods to improve operations, efficiency, and service.
* Assist with managing your employees schedules, hours, vacations, etc.
* Participate in company initiatives and concept projects.
* Limit shrink (negative cost) of products and peripherals.
* Attend community events and meetings when necessary to represent the store and the Avocado brand.
* Champion our brand's values and be willing to promote the retail experience in your community.
* Ensure the operations of the store are in working order and follow up with correct services for repairs or maintenance.
* Provide the best customer service in the world! *WHAT YOU BRING* * Minimum of 1 year of retail or equivalent experience - store management or assistant management experience (e.
g.
at least keyholder) and experience managing and training store employees is a plus.
* Someone invested in creating a balanced and healthy environment for staff and guests.
* A team player who actively contributes to the team in order to complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects.
* An entrepreneurial spirit to elevate your specific location; * Shows passion towards our brand’s values of healthy living, environmental awareness, and social responsibility; previous experience working for a brand with similar values is a plus! * Café experience; training experience; experience running branded events is a plus! * Regular and predictable attendance.
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* * Stationary position: Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
* Move: This role involves moving throughout the retail space to meet with different team members and customers.
* Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office machines such as printers and tablets.
* Communicate: This role frequently communicates with other team members to update on the status of a task.
