Job Duties and Responsibilities: Senior Ecommerce Manager oversees online sales.
The responsibility spans product knowledge, pricing, special promotions, web advertising, operations/IT support and other aspects of running the e-commerce website for the company.
This job requires continual collaboration with various team members such as website service providers, marketing, merchandise managers, photographers, graphic designers, IT and other members who contribute to the operations and content of the website.
• Collaborate with service providers, merchandise managers, photographers, graphic designers and IT • Monitor and facilitate smooth operation of the ecommerce website (availability, response, transaction level, abandonment, etc.
) • Work with marketing department to create and implement relevant marketing programs • Create and maintain an online business plan • Staying up to date on software or data trends • Manage content management system (CMS) upkeep and relevance • Updating website with new content and products • Provide analytic reports of online sales • Facilitate sales through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Marketing, Social Media Marketing and other digital marketing channels and techniques • Lead, develop, and ensure implementation of ecommerce strategies that are aligned with overall business strategies, and that support achievement of profitable ecommerce sales objectives • Lead user experience optimization and channel knowledge to improve customer experience and ecommerce performance • Exhibit leadership qualities in dealing within the ecommerce channel team.
Work closely with cross-functional colleagues including marketing, customer service, merchandise managers, photographers, graphic designers, operations and IT • Utilize reporting tools to analyze, report and improve on key performance indicators (KPI) • Develop timely and accurate volume and financial forecasts to manage product availability with merchandising and buyers • Monitor customer’s feedback and work with the team to assure alignment of product trends, customer’s product requests and product availability • Social Media integration Preferred Qualifications: • Digital marketing experience and keen interest in produce ecommerce with at least 5 years of experience • Experience in marketing and technology with in depth understanding of web analytic software • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, UX, Dreamweaver is a plus • Knowledge of A/B testing of adverts, Google AdWords, Google Analytics • Degree in Digital Marketing or any related field
