*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Leasing Manager to join a nonprofit organization in NYC.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and expanding the organization's large and diverse real state portfolio.
The mission is to reduce homelessness and provide a life of purpose for individuals in need.
As a Leasing Manager, your primary goal will be to ensure that all our residents have safe, clean and affordable place to call home.
*Responsibilities: *
• Prepare and execute leases for new tenants have been referred to fill vacancies
• Prepare and execute lease renewals for existing tenants
• Work with Housing Development and Property Management teams to evaluate potential impact of capital projects on tenants and programs
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for tenants.
• Prepare reports requested by internal and external stakeholders that speak to tenancy and related issues within the portfolio
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of, tenant communications, and property maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned
*Requirements:*
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in leasing or property management
- Strong knowledge of leasing laws and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and prospects
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.
00 - $52,000.
