Project Accountant

Project Accountant Needed - Builder in Brooklyn NY building large luxury multifamily residential buildings.
Main Duties: -Liaison between Project Mgmt & Accounting -Ability to use Timberline / TimberScan For A/P, Contracts, & Job Cost Reporting.
-Research & Resolve billing A/P problems.
-Maintain Real Time Job Project Cost sheet including Cost to Date, Paid to Date & Vendor Balance Due.
-Process Contracts, Cost Code & C/O order requests -Process All Payment Requisitions determining accuracy of subcontractor paperwork.
-Vendor communication.
-Review & maintain lien waivers.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor or a similar role - Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and practi - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting.
As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
You will work closely with project managers to track expenses, analyze financial reports, and provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.
