The Investment Support Associate is a seasoned professional role.
Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function.
Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.
Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc.

Wealth at Work (WaW) offers a wide range of products and solutions, including investment strategies, banking and lending, trust and specialized services.
WaW delivers solutions to help meet the individual, family and business across a number of business segments including Law Firms, Profession Services and Asset Managers.
Responsibilities:
The ISA role is to provide a wide variety of service and support to Banking Teams, Investment Counselors and Product Specialists across WaW.
The position focuses on servicing clients by understanding their investment objectives, and working with team members to help facilitate and implement investment solutions.
Provide high level of support, including but not limited to client market and price updates, documentation approval, wire transfers, journals, stock transfers, account maintenance, capital call notices, fixed income maturities, settled free cash, reorganization notices,
Take investment financial requests, provide timely execution and follow up
Take ownership of client investigations and collaborate with operational and middle office teams to ensure effective resolution.
Build and maintain relationships with client base
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management very important
Manage high call volume, screen and prioritize phone calls, take initiative with client inquiries
Liaise with WaW partners including Private Bankers, AB's and Product Specialists
Perform responsibilities through proficient use Citi applications.
Participate in related process improvements
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience
Banking and/or investment experience, client facing experience preferred
Ability to problem solve and analyzes data with demonstration of attention to detail
Strong communication, written and follow up skills.
Detailed oriented and strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work without direction.
Self motivated.
Strong Microsoft office skills.

US Only: S7 & S63 & S65 or S66, S31; NOTE: Securities Industry Exam (SIE is a prerequisite to the S7)
