Weekend Only Shifts 8 AM - 4 PM
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a customer service role is also required, having demonstrated excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills
You must have good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills as well as be an organized record keeper
Proficiency in computer skills to include the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new applications
Presenting patience when working with elderly that may suffer from dementia and/or mental illness
Must be able to pass fingerprinting scan
Responsibilities:
The Concierge will be greeting potential residents, families, visitors, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Answers a multiline telephone, screens and directs calls.
Greets guests and residents entering the building and may direct to correct destination
Responsible for carrying out any emergency procedures required during shift
Notifies Case Manager/ Nurse, administrator and assistant administrator of emergency situations
Redirecting residents to their designated areas.
Making sure to log all hospitalizations, and resident home visits; as well as, documenting all residents leaving the facility; meanwhile making sure to know which residents are permitted to go out on their own.
Following all protocols in place.
Paging the correct staff to attend to the problem.
Making sure aids attend to the residents they are assigned too.
