Your new role WBD DTC’s Global Identity & Authentication team seeks an experienced and talented Senior IOS Engineer to join our dedicated SDKs team.
As a Senior IOS Engineer within our SDKs team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and crafting reusable and scalable identity and authentication platforms.
Your primary focus will be on the IOS platform, with opportunities to extend your work to Android and web developments.
You will collaborate closely with a highly skilled group of front-end engineers and work in tandem with our backend teams to enhance feature support across various platforms for our diverse client base.
We are looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience as an IOS developer and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
Bonus if you have other front-end experience including Kotlin and typescript.
Responsibilities You will develop and maintain iOS applications with a focus on reusability, ensuring high performance, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.
You will collaborate with technical leadership and other engineers to help establish overall technical design and architecture across multiple front-end teams.
You will apply robust software design pattern and principles in your design and solution, with a particular emphasis on creating SDKs that are easy to use and adopted throughout the organization.
You offer enhancements to best practices, documents, design, and architecture improvements, and as feedback through code reviews to other engineers without continuous prompting or recurring encouragement.
Other engineers appreciate your feedback.
You can troubleshoot a production issue by reviewing source code, logs, operational metrics, stack trace, etc.
to pinpoint a specific problem and then resolve it.
You will constantly optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability and security.
You will provide mentorship to mid and junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Work closely with the product/design team to build a customer-centric product.
Requirements 5-7 years of experience professionally in IOS mobile applications.
Demonstrable knowledge of IOS development, proficient in Swift and Xcode.
You have experience in setting and improving technical best practices within their team.
This involves a track record of raising the bar for software development standards and practices.
You solve scalability and reliability problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices.
Iterate and develop test suites to maintain the high-quality standards of our code.
Has experience in maintaining integration tests for mobile applications.
Must have excellent communication skills.

Discovery’s total compensation package for employees.
Pay Range: $119,700.
00 - $222,300.
00 salary per year.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
