Collaborating with a team of friendly and accomplished engineers, you will collectively elevate our application's performance within the dynamic advertising landscape.
Each member of our engineering team plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the vision of a sophisticated, elegant, well-engineered product at WideOrbit.

Here is what success will look like: Develop and test new features for the WO Payments Suite based on internal and external requests Improve current architecture and design to increase performance Partner with engineering, product management and QA to address obstacles and new feature updates and releases Create automated tests to validate your code modifications and ensure their seamless integration into the application Actively engage in code reviews and cultivate a collaborative and improvement focused work environment Continuously expand your skill set, diversify existing abilities, and promote knowledge sharing among team members Assist senior technology executives in strategic discussions and critical technology decision making, while also serving as a mentor to software engineers To thrive in this role, we're looking for: 5+ years of experience in overall software development 3+ years of experience in PHP Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Proven track record in developing complex applications with Symfony Extensive expertise using Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Doctrine and Propel Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience working with relational databases such as MariaDB or MySQL Demonstrated experience using Git including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts Experience with React is a plus Demonstrated success within a collaborative team environment Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner Capacity for creative thinking and problem solving Ability to take initiative Media or payments industry exposure is a plus Location: This position can be based in any of our offices.
Telecommute will also be considered.
Pay Range: $105,000 - $150,000 *Please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship Compensation: The compensation range listed, and general description of other compensation and benefits will apply to this position.
