The Team:
The MI Education team is a high-performing group of L&D professionals, dedicated to providing superior learning experiences that align with business needs and strategy.
Our mandate is to continue to build, curate & deliver a Product training curriculum that tightly aligns to MI’s Go-To- Market strategy across all product suites and business units.

From onboarding to continuing education, we seek to provide relevant and engaging learning experiences that enables our Commercial front lines to hit their growth targets.
Project management of L&D Activities: Supports a portfolio of L&D projects, including key L&D initiatives across several business units including, onboarding, continuing education, and strategic assignments Identifies and aligns internal resources and drives implementation of agreed solution/s at pace.
Works with the business partners and internal teams to manage L&D project activities timeline, identify risks and potential solutions Manage project communications/updates to key audiences Business partnering and consulting: Builds strong and trusted working relationships with business leaders and their teams including Marketing / Sales / Product partners, interacting with, and effectively managing collaborators, including leadership team.
Provides learning consultation and expert L&D advice to business leaders and subject matter experts to ensure new learning content builds skills and capabilities that drive business performance goals.
Identifies and recommend opportunities to support business unit and team mandates (e.
g.
, leveraging learning technologies, supporting implementation of LMS, establishing learning/course standards, maintaining, and enhancing documentation and templates, etc.
) Works with internal operations and digital content teams and provides project oversight across all projects, partners & stakeholders including integration of multimedia elements such as audio and video into eLearning modules and educational presentations Design & Delivery of L&D initiatives: Supports the maintenance and delivery of targeted, instructor led, and technology deployed training content and solutions to the Sales and Marketing team at S&P Global Market Intelligence team Assists in the development of innovative approaches to educational program design including Course and curriculum design Editing and developing online learning materials Creation of learning experiences and environments Undertakes learning needs analyses for key groups, articulating strategic learning needs, and translating these needs into learning offerings and/or recommendations.
Brings strong L&D expertise to design and builds high quality learning solutions that blend education, exposure, and experiential elements to drive relevant business focused learning outcomes Directly (or indirectly) manages and is responsible for the delivery of virtual and/or in-person training events; from training logistics, schedules / trainers, communication activities, delegate attendance and follow-up activities Maintains awareness of current trends in learning and development practices and keeps understanding of the learning landscape current, fresh and engaging for the modern employee.
Brings innovative approaches to functional learning activities along with ideas / recommendations for the R&D enterprise.
Communication and Driving Change: Delivers effective communications to support L&D activities and instils a culture of continuous learning.
Champions and promotes L&D collaboration, using internal networks to extend reach and impact.
Strengthens and builds L&D capability within S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) through active participation and collaboration with all relevant partners, stakeholders, learners Supports L&D operations & technical teams involved in capability development of L&D activities and projects Learning Insight and Evaluation: Conducts regular review of program success measures and metrics & recommends improvements and refinements where needed Contributes to the development of the L&D evaluation strategy, establishing key measures, data collection and building insightful reports and analyses for leadership (and the R&D enterprise L&D team) to demonstrate clear value and return on investment for learning activities.
Monitors, evaluates, and analyzes business impact and the practical, on-the-job application of delivered learning programs Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,000 to $120,000.
Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
